Post by Jeanne on Sun Mar 09, 2008 2:41 pm

Ok,
so I was logging onto wordpress to check my blog and I saw an interesting topic in the religion section. GASP!!!!! It's HORRIBLY anti-catholic. Anyone want to have a go at apologetics and challenging them????

the url is www.soulrefuge.wordpress.com

I will check it later when my blood pressure has dropped back to normal. Mad

Truth be told, there are some who are better left alone and put to prayer instead. Unless they seek YOU out, I'd just leave them be. They are often more difficult and hateful than folks like our friend Frank.

Unfortunately, there are many like this out there. I've learned to stay away from them. In actually, their hatred of Catholicism often has the opposite effect they desire. It was anti-Catholics just like this who caused me to see the differences in the hearts of Catholics and anti-Catholics. In the end, I found a truer Christian love from Catholics and it helped me see the truth.

Pray for this one... but, as for me, I'm going to have to pass this time! Unless, of course, he comes to me! Then, he's fair game!

Amber-
You are so right! Forgive me!! I am way too passionate for my own good in this regard.
Bless and release.............
BTW, Neil responded to my post "still protesting".
Be honest with me if I have my theology wrong.

I just write in my blog and they reply.
I probably hit them in the right spot that they feel compelled.
What I don't understand is why someone wants to dedicate an entire blog to something they hate: like having a blog devoted to disproving Catholicism...

Indeed... it's like having an entire blog devoted to crappy drivers and traffic jams! Wink

Indeed! Reno freeways are just as bad as California's! We used to be able to get ANYWHERE in Reno in 20 minutes or less... 20 minutes on a BAD day! Now, it's a miracle if we make it in 20 minutes! 395N even BEFORE rush hour, is a nightmare! It's almost quicker to take city streets than it is the freeway!

Perhaps we should have a post in Rant and Rave about driving conditions in our cities. Maybe we COULD start a whole blog on the topic!

Seriously. When I go to get gas, I slide my card and start pumping. Before the tank gets full, the pump stops because it reaches it's maximum purchase amount of $75. I fill up roughly every 9-10 days. INSANE! Shocked

Unfortunately, I don't have a choice. I have to drive or I can't work and then I don't have the money for gas or anything else!

So much for the OP here, huh?
