Bowing Your Head

Are new Catholics taught to bow their head at the name of Jesus? I know I always do but I don't notice many other people doing it anymore even those my age who are cradle Catholics.

I know that I wasn't taught that but I have observed it on occasion and I even recall seeing Father do it yesterday.

I love it! It's such a beautiful sign of respect and reverence to our
Lord. It's too bad the practice is not more frequently used these days.
