Positive Parenting

Has anyone heard of, or know anything about "Positive Parenting", a concept by Jane Nelson? I've been reading up on it a bit and it sounds good in theory but I wonder how effective it might be.

Also, has anyone used the concepts presented by Dr. Kevin Leman?

Never heard of these people. My father used to swat us on the rear and say, "Just imagine if you did something". Worked like a charm.

No, seriously, I found that treating my children with respect and expecting respect in return worked well. And loving them to death doesn't hurt either.
