I am now Catholic!!!!

Hi All,
I just have to announce that I am now Catholic! It is still amazing to me. For me it has been such a long journey and something that has always seemed so far out of reach, to now have it, it is so Amazing!!!! It still does not seem real.
Easter Vigil was wonderful. Two in my RCIA group were baptized and that was so special to see that happen for them. I cannot even describe the emotions that I was feeling for those two. It was just so special.
Anyway I had to share.

Terri-
I remember the excitement I felt when I was fully back in communion with the Catholic Church.
This was almost 17 years ago. My good friend, Cheryl, said I had a golden opportunity to evangelize and witness to this new faith of mine to all the protestants I left behind. This window would only be open for a short while.
One thing I did was write a letter to the Pastor of the protestant church I had attended and told him why I was reverting to my Catholic roots.
We all know that protestant churches are filled!!! with former Catholics. And yet some protestant churches are incorporating more liturgies that are Catholic in origin because the
protestant church members are yearning deep in their soul for something more.
The first step in my coming home was because Cheryl is the most joyful Catholic I ever met!!!
And that is very attractive to someone on the outside looking in.

Welcome to the Truth Terry! It's a wonderful feeling that many others have come to realize that there's only one truth represented by God's love in the Catholic Church.
