It seems to me

that alot of the teaching is done either in the Bible or Catechism and in the Hominallies. I can't even keep up with the encyclicals, So I rely on the books and the minister tyhat comes tio see me each wee as well as EWTN.

For the nuts and bolts of the faith, you can depend on the catechism. You will note that the catechism gives biblical references so you can see how the teachings relate to the faith. And if you keep the commandments, you can't go wrong.
